The Royal Wig, Governor's Palace, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

wig room

The royal governor's family had their wigs stored and prepared in this room in the palace. As representatives of the crown, they had too look their best.

  1. Beautiful photo. Could you imagine wearing a wig in the dog days of summer in Virginia, yikes :o)
    Have a great day.
