Batter Up Colonial Style, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Batter Up

Young men and ball games are timeless. Apparently, the colonial era was no exception. This young man plays a game in which the stuffed ball is popped into the air by stomping on the lever on the wooden block, to be swatted by the eagerly waiting paddle.
