Clay Sprinklers, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

These colorful and functional garden watering bottles are simple and ingenuous. The user dunks the bottle into the water; places her thumb over the hole to keep the water from escaping; places the sprinkler over the desired plant target; and, moves her thumb. The water empties through the holes in the bottom. Unfortunately, you have to do that for all the plants in the garden.  Makes you thankful for garden hoses.
