Colonial Gardner at Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia

Here, one of the colonial gardners is in deep thought while surveying the vegetables.  There are more than two dozen gardens - vegetable, decorative, herb and mixed- maintained by the staff.  They are painstakingly planted, maintained, and displayed as they would have been in the 1770's.
