Thomas Jefferson and Dog at Merchant's Square, Williamsburg, Virginia

This man and his dog stopped to rest with Thomas Jefferson as he worked during the Merchant's Square Farmers Market. The dog clearly thought he had something to add.

  1. Well, this is a very cute picture, indeed!! Does the ststue always reside on that bench? Makes statues so much more accesible to the public, not up on a big podium and untouchable!

  6. I had a cat who used to do that. The cat would jump up on whatever *I* was writing on or reading. The cat wanted to be the center of attention. I guess that dog wants attention too.

  7. Cool photo -I'm sure Jefferson would have approved. I believe he had a bulldog.
Love your header - it looks just like a movie scene.
