African American Religion Exhibit in Colonial Williamsburg. It is located at the Taliferro-Cole Stable near the site of the carriage house where the African American First Baptist Church met in the early 1800s. The exhibit follows the religious history of Africans and their descendants in the area including the organization of the AAFB church. In 1775, just before the revolution, 52% of Virginia was African-American.

For some reason the decoration reminds me of early quilts. Good design and colors.
