This photo shows a portion of the archaeological dig next to "The Brafferton" on the campus of the College of William and Mary. They believe they located evidence of an outbuilding that may have been slave quarters. Hurricane Irene filled some of the low spots with water, but we are certain more digging is to come. I checked your link and wonder what Indian tribe would have been in the area? I know my Plains Indian tribes but unfamiliar with your area. Digs are fascinating and the workers are so meticulous!
