One of the military displays at
Colonial Williamsburg included this shooting demonstration. The regiment went through the very orderly process of marching into place, forming two lines, shooting at an imaginary enemy and quickly reloading. It was very loud and, obviously, very smoky.
And as I remember the sharp acid smell of gunpowder. Great shot ( nice word of speaking here.)
ReplyDeleteA great photo, with all the smoke. You made it at the right moment.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Did you use the rapid fire setting on your camera to get it, or was your timing really that good? Jim
ReplyDeleteInteresting, that back then, they were 'leaning' upon someones shoulder to shoot.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Thursday.
