Happy New Year to you, as well. Thank you for helping to keep alive America's colonial past. Once, when we were in New Zealand a store clerk referred to our group of Americans as "Ex-Empire." We all thought the expression odd. Maybe if we spent more time in Williamsburg we would not have reacted that way.
