At a recent event at the
Waterman's Museum in Yorktown the participants dressed in maritime garb. The first photo shows a blacksmith hammering while his assistant pumps the bellows. In the others, the lady did needlepoint while her friend shouted instructions to workers on the beach.
I have only seen such costume in American movies, last time (pardon me) seems like a pirate's outfit !
ReplyDeleteTheir costumes are really beautiful, I specially like the lady picture, it's adorable!

I love the costumes and settings, but the reminders of the 21st century, cars and tourists, always bother me. I always have the same problem trying to take pictures at historic sites myself.
