Mach Tower is a 240 foot tall drop tower at Busch Gardens. Riders slowly rise to the top then suddenly, their feet fly up while they plummet to the bottom, stopping just before hitting the ground. The view from the top is spectacular.
My last ride like this was at Universal Studios in Orlando - my knees shook like jelly for 30 minutes afterward! However, as you say, the view is pretty spectacular from the top - just can't handle this kind of thing any more! I don't remember this ride at Busch - of course it has been a while since I was there!
Hey Neighbor! I am glad to have found your blog, I live about an hour or so from you in Franklin! I need to plan a day at BG it has been too long since I have been there! Nice to meet you. Jenny
not my cup of tea (anymore )

ReplyDeleteLove all the feet poking over the edge! My kids love these kinds of rides...and I enjoy watching them.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos! I have always preferred rides that stay on the ground. LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the photo, but not the ride! I used to, but not anymore...
