The Mariners' Museum, Newport News, Virginia
The Mariners' Museum in Newport News offers a wide array of sea and ship related artifacts, including those from the Civil War ironclad, the USS Monitor. This is the ship propeller and pool that serves as the entry marker for the museum. Click here for more information.

The story of the Monitor has always fascinated me. Very fitting that portions of it are in a museum.
