Great Blue Heron On The York River, Yorktown, Virginia
This Great Blue Heron entertained us as it searched for breakfast in the waters along a rock jetty in the York River. He is about four feet tall with a wingspan of roughly 70 inches.

Great shot, beautiful bird.
It is a real huge bird! I hope it found some breakfast :)
Very nice photo!
What a wonderful capture, love the outstretched wings.
I love all species of Heron but this one surely is one of the most wonderful. Great capture!
Four feet tall?! That's a lot of bird! :)
I'm still trying to get a decent shot of a heron. This one is great!
