Busch Gardens Williamsburg Opening Day March 26th, Photo #2

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is home to a variety of animals, including a number of birds.  They are featured in the Lorikeet GlenEagle Ridge, and Jack Hanna's Wild Reserve. There are eagles, owls, hawks, lorikeets, cuckoos, kuckabburra, and more. The Lorikeet Glen allows the birds to fly free and interact with people within the enclosure.

This is a week long series of last years pictures we will post for opening day for the park's 2010 season, March 26.

We love Williamsburg. It was a regular vacation spot for years and years. Busch Gardens is a great park even for those who don't enjoy the rides. Much to see. I am one who isn't into rides bigger than the Merry go Round.

I love Williamsburg. I have only been there twice - once when I was a young girl and once a few years ago when I went with my daughter. It is a place that I keep saying to my husband we should take a trip to. I am going to read your blog more in depth and definitely schedule a trip. Thank you for stopping by my blog and becoming a Follower. It means a lot to me.

I posted something about lorikeets on my other blog-if you want to look at a very wet bird here is the link:http://3sisters365.blogspot.com/2010/03/3-sisters-3-inclement-days.html

It has been so nice to "meet" you and I look forward to following your blog.

Fantastic mosaic ... I do believe I see an Aussie Kookaburra and our Rainbow Lorikeet as well.

I just popped by to say thanks for visiting my 'Pink' mosaic post ... and I was so surprised to find these two Aussie birds in your mosaic ... just marvellous!
