The Freight Shed, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown, Virginia

The Freight Shed at Riverwalk Landing in Yorktown, Virginia, was built in 1935 as a terminal for  steamships from Baltimore.  It is now available to lease for events. Many wedding receptions are held at this location which sits on the York River. If you look carefully at the door, you can see the river behind the building.

It is very idyllic, the right place for events. And as always... great photos ;-)

Very nice blog you have here. I particularly like this shot for all its symmetry and shadows.

Thanks for your visit, comment, and follow on my blog. I look forward to seeing more views from Williamsburg. =)

Hi friends,

Really, you have created a nice site. Riverwalk Landing, a beautiful waterfront development designed in the spirit of colonial architecture reflected in the town’s historic buildings, offers a day-long shopping, touring and dining experience. Thanks for sharing it.....
