Remembering 9/11 - Flag Reflection Photo

Reflecting on and remembering the day.

This is a picture taken in our local area during our many picture taking travels. We were vacationing in Williamsburg on 9/11/2001 and will always remember the events of the day as they played out.

How unusual and striking. The V of the tree trunk, the flag peeking out, and reflecting in the window. Very artistic, you have an extremly good eye for great shots. This one just kind of draws you in.

Great reflection...on both counts. I will always remember how I went to bed on the night of 9-11 crying and asking my mother how people (the terrorists) could possibly do that to others, how they could not care...to this day it is still what strikes me the most about that day, because no religion teaches hate and violence, not one.

You have had and still have all my sympathy for all the terrible things that happened on that they. I visited NYC and Ground Zero (including the Church of St.Paul) recently - very moving.

Hi, we are glad we found your blog. It is beautiful, the pictures speak so much...
9/11 is not just a date, it is a day that changed so many things...we in India understand it so well.
Wish somehow the terror and malice would stop..
