Scottish Blackfaced Sheep at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia

The Scottish Black-faced Sheep is a new resident at Busch Gardens Williamsburg.  The flock seems quite happy in their new digs. The Budweiser Clydesdales left with the sale of the park earlier this year and the new owners replaced them in the Scotland area of the park with black Clydesdales and added these little black and white guys, along with black and white border collies to tend them.

Very nice shots of the black-faced sheep. I can almost feel the lanolin in their wool.

I don't think we have any of the blackfaced ones here, only the other kind. I'm glad you used two pictures to show both the front and side of the head, quite a difference. I notice the first one appears to have shorn legs, and the second has wool on his legs. They are very impressive!

They're so cute! I absolutely love sheep...until they're shorn. I'm all about the cute, puffy look :o)
