Welcome to an almost daily peek at our beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia which includes the "Historic Triangle" consisting of Colonial Williamsburg -the world’s largest living history museum- Yorktown and Jamestown.
The animals at Colonial Williamsburg always get their fair share of attention. A young girl and her family stop to see the horses in two adjacent pastures in front of Bassett Hall.
Fall, between Halloween and Thanksgiving, is my favorite time of the year in Williamsburg. However, Christmas is also special, especially when there is snow and you're staying in the Brick House Tavern and you have a fireplace in the room.

What a lovely scene with the sun shining on the horses backs!

I don't remember the last time I touched a horse. But I miss that moment.
