Another Entrance to Narnia (?) in Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia

This hedge and lamppost  provides an interesting look to the garden gate on Duke of Gloucester Street in Colonial Williamsburg. It is so beautifully groomed and unusual it made us think of one of the secret entrances to Narnia or, perhaps, because of the short opening, a gate in the hobbit's shire. We thought it has movie-like qualities.

Very pretty! It's been awhile since I visited Colonial Williamsburg. My sister recently moved there, so I imagine I'll be visiting more often.
