Thanks a lot for your comment at my blog.. Those birds are very nice.. I have been looking throu your last post, and like your photos a lot.. :-)
What a great sign! I love the birds.
Hi There, Think I told you that my 6 Great Grandfather Capt. John Ballard had a house there on Ballard Street. It's not far from the Thomas Nelson House. I was so excited when we were in the W'burg/Jamestown/Yorktown area.. Hope we can come back sometime.
May 8 Great Grandfather, Thomas Ballard, was the founder of the Ballards in VA. He gave land for Wm and Mary College... Quite a remarkable man, who was very involved with Bruton Parish --and is buried there.
Thanks so much for sharing your life in that gorgeous area.
Hugs,
Betsy
