Lightfoot House, Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia

The Lightfoot House is a beautiful, stately home at the edge of the historic district. It, along with the Williamsburg Inn, has housed visiting VIPs from royalty and presidents to movie stars.

Another, beautifully preserved, historic building.

Amazing how the buildings of certain historic periods just managed to capture the essence of beauty. In South Africa you have the Cape Dutch buildings of the 1700's. Impossible to copy, just never comes out right.

American used to look like this and then along came the influence of California and their Ranch Homes. And the rest of is history.

All the houses you're showing are so beautyful and perfect that they could be doll's houses! What a wonderful architecture!
