Shady Lady, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

On a hot, sunny day in Virginia, the costumed employee of Colonial Williamsburg brought her own shade in the form of this broad brimmed hat.  Not exactly certain where she got that coffee cup in 1774, but we will investigate further.

Love that photo! We discovered while there this summer that you can get your "fill it up" mug filled with ice cream as well as drinks during the summer months. That was a nice treat on a hot day!!

Great hat! The coffee must be good since she looks pretty relaxed.

*LOL* She should have been hiding the cup - under the bench f.ex. - but with these hot temperatures everybody needs a rest and somethink to drink!
