Sunflowers And Pomegranates In Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

As the seasons change, so too do the gardens in Colonial Williamsburg.  As the sunflowers begin to bow their heads and shed their seeds, the pomegranates start to ripen, almost inviting you to pick and sample them.

Beautiful, Darryl and Ruth, we have sunflowers and pomegranates in my home town in South Africa. Seen sunflowers here in East Africa but no pomegranates! Hope you're having a great weekend. Greetings, Jo, Kenya

Isn't the natural progression of nature fantastic! Love pomegranates, haven't had one for ages. Lovely shot.
