Cheerful Chores, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia


This colonial lad happily stored firewood for the camp using his red wheelbarrow.  Of course, like any respectable boy, he is barefooted.

I think that everyday chores back then would have kept young people much fitter than they seem to be these days!

Do you wonder if he does his chores as "cheerfully" at home for mum? I see my sons in that pic and remember how they loved to help others but oh the grumbling at home! Grand Photo!!! Have a wonderful weekend! Cathy
