Similar designs yet different from our village house windows!
Fine details; the hand-forged shutter dogs are all the same and perfectly aligned, the beaded edges on the lap siding, and the mitred edges of the shutter cross pieces. And to think, all these details were done without power tools in Colonial days.
Looks like our historic district in our beautiful Bardstown, Kentucky. Always something going on to preserve the original beauty. I would love to get to VA to spend some time. Have been through there on the way to New York and New Jersey but always in a hurry to get to our destination. Blessings
