Family Cemetery, Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg, Virginia

This cemetery is located within Colonial Williamsburg adjacent to the Capitol.  Although clearly not an exhibit as it is completely walled in and locked, it is an interesting piece of history.

Cemeteries seem to interest people for lots of reasons, and I'm fascinated with the variety of ways the plots are assembled and decorated in different parts of the world.

How did I manage to miss this when I visited Williamsburg? Any idea who the family was? Great shots of an interesting resting place!

Very interesting! Back in the day, I'm sure this cost the family a lot of money.
