Jamestown Island Marshes, Williamsburg, Virginia

The marshes around Jamestown Island create a perfect habitat for a variety of animals. This heron found a comfortable spot to wade and wait for a meal.

Good Morning , what a beautiful scene. I love the heron and the colorful grasses. It looks like a perfect habitat for the birds. Great photo.

Marshes are interesting places, esp. because of the wild life attracted to it. You photographed it in an inviting way.

Nice shot Darryl, great colours, I hope the Heron catches his dinner after waiting so patiently.
