The Heron And The Goose, Williamsburg, Virginia
We've always heard that birds of a feather flock together; apparently, someone forgot to tell this blue heron and canada goose. They seemed quite content to share the end of this little mud bar extending into the water.

Beautiful photo!
Have a great day.
Greetings Mette
Oh how funny! We were in CW this weekend and while walking by the canal, I turned around and saw the heron only a few feet from me! I took lots of pictures thinking he'd soon fly away but he patiently stood there the entire time. Meanwhile the geese were swimming in the canal. I like this shot of them together.

We could learn a thing or two about sharing from wildlife in general! What a gorgeous image Darryl and Ruth.
