Winter Wardrobe, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
This time of year, visitors to Colonial Williamsburg see a wide variety of winter attire. This lady is no exception, although the glasses and sneakers are not standard attire for colonials.

so times have changed so folks can see and have happy feet...what blessings! love this photo!
I am glad that they let the period costumed people wear comfortable shoes. Wearing the type of shoes they wore in the 1700's would be authentic, but probably brutal for the workers.
Nothing like having a comfy pair of sneakers on if you're going to be on your feet all day. and the yellow glasses made me lol, look so funny with the costume!!
I caught the shoes also. I'm sure, what they wore back then wasn't nearly as comfortable! Great candid pic!
