On The King's Business, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

The staff at the King's Arms Tavern compare notes regarding the needs of its patrons in an effort to give each the royal treatment. Okay, it's not really the King's business.

I guess the patrons are treated like kings. Great shot. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I am so happy to have found your blog! We lived in Virginia for 6 years from 1984-1990. Then moved to Colorado, where we have been ever since. We made several trips to Historic Williamsburg while in Virginia, and fell in love with it! Of course :) The last time we were there was either Dec. 1989, or January 1990 just before our move.

I have goosebumps looking at your photos and will relish coming here, strolling down memory lane.

There is a large red painted building in the background to the right of the "town hall" building in your header photo that I don't recall. I do remember that there was some kind of tavern there, I think :). Maybe they have painted it a different color. What is that building?

Looking forward to more!

We ate at King's Arms and enjoyed it... Oh --how I want to go back to W'burg and Jamestown and Yorktown... Do you all ever volunteer there? That would be so much fun.
Hugs,
Betsy
