Helping Trees, William And Mary College, Williamsburg, Virginia
This tree on the campus of William & Mary College is so sprawling that it needs a little help to stand as you can see by the beam propping the branch in the foreground. Everyone, even trees, need a little help from friends from time to time.

Wow, that is very cool. Here in Oklahoma that stand wouldn't hold up. We are having 50 mile an hour winds this weekend!
Wonderful comment upon life itself.
Please have a good new week ahead.
Well I think that's a very considerate gesture! Happy Memorial Day Darryl and Ruth.
You are so right! It's a beautiful tree and deserves some help! It also is sitting in a very serene looking spot.
I join the chorus... a tree worthy of a helping stand. :-)
