Courthouse And Magazine, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
The courthouse and magazine are mainstays of the colonial district and provide a beautiful backdrop for photo ops. This is taken across the parade grounds behind the courthouse. The cannon on the right is fired as part of the historical events throughout the day.

indeed great photo ops !
This is a postcard-type shot! Great view - nicely done!
i'm with Linda ... postcard-ready. great view. (:
They look extra special with the early morning (or late afternoon?) sun shining on the buildings.
How close do you live to the actual grounds? Do you hear the cannon all day in the distance?
Do you think a magazine would be placed that close to a courthouse in our present, paranoid world?
I enlarged this photo and it is BEAUTIFUL! Worthy of printing for sure. Nice shot!
Beautiful photo. I hope to visit Williamsburg someday.
Thank you for your comment on my blog!
