American Girl has a variety of dolls from various areas and time periods for which they create historical fiction book series. Felicity was the doll in Colonial Williamsburg. Our daughter, along with a number of other girls, brought their dolls and had tea and etiquette lessons as well as learning colonial style dancing. It was a great way to learn history through reading and play. Unfortunately, we believe they retired Felicity but the books should still be available.

I heard about this series, and it sounded like something I would have loved to read and pretend when I was a girl.
