Everywhere A Sign, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
Unlike today where neon, L.E.D., and a wide variety of electronic signs sparkle, blink and blind to get our attention, signs in colonial days were more direct. The bold colors and picture on this sign are visible down the street and, for those delegates in town, from the windows of the Capitol, reminding them that Mr. Charlton's coffee shop was brewing a cup just for them.
