This costumed employee of Colonial Williamsburg listens to the reading of the Declaration of Independence from the balcony of the Capitol. He takes over the narrative and proudly interjects the line "that all men are created equal . . . ." Portions of the document are spoken by others in the crowd representing various segments of the population of the colony.
