Monogrammed Ball Room, Governor's Palace, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Monogrammed Ballroom

Visitors touring the Royal Governor's Palace in Williamsburg are unlikely to forget whose house this really is.  The King's monogram appears over the front entry gate and again in the great room where parties were held.  "G.R." for "George, Rex" is prominently displayed in gold under a crown. No subtlety involved.
