Island Deer

This fawn stood fearlessly as we approached within about five feet.

How terrific. Deer are so neat to see but ZI'm told that they can wreck havoc on any plantings!

I always liked seeing white tailed deer when my parents lived in our cottage country. I'm assuming this little one is not of that species, but a closely related one?

Yes, they can wreck havoc on gardens!
