Carriage Under Live Oak, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Colonial Williamsburg relocated this live oak tree from the Great Dismal Swamp many decades ago. It stands behind the courthouse a creates a great deal of shelter for visitors with several benches to sit on as well as for this carriage and its draft horses. The portion shown is less than half the width and one-third the height of the tree.
