Yorktown Onions In Full Bloom, Yorktown, Virginia
The Yorktown Onion is a variety apparently only found here. It is protected by law regarding harvesting etc. During the blooming, the mowers go around them so as not to cause damage. They are beautiful waiving in the breeze.
