Hats In History, Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia


When strolling through Colonial Williamsburg, one sees a wide variety of historic hats. There are simple caps, tri-corner hats, straw hats, bonnets, and woolen caps all designed for a specific function - work or beauty. This elegant lady clearly is not dressed for work.

Soooo pretty! I bet it's a joy to actually live there...we are former Hampton Roads people (my hubby a Norfolk native) Been to Wmbg many times and always loved it!
