The twirling tea cup ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg became a focal point of light and holiday magic for Christmas Town with Santa and the reindeer riding along side.

Tree Of Light, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Virginia

Tree Of Light

This is part of a very large tree at Busch Gardens Williamsburg that was decorated for Christmas Town. We were particularly amazed at the number of lights and time it must have take to do this. The tree is easily 50 feet tall and the lights are wrapped from top to bottom the trunk and every branch about one inch width between wraps. The labor was intense but the result phenomenal.

The "Deck The Halls" Christmas show at the Festhaus for Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg features traditional Christmas tunes along with dancing and a live orchestra all working around a large fireplace at center stage.

This Magellanic Penguin is one of several varieties on display at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as part of its Christmas Town event. He seemed to sit back and eye the tourists on the other side of the glass as if they were on display.
