Snow Birds, Williamsburg, Virginia

Williamsburg is occasionally blessed with a little snow that lasts a day or two as the temperatures usually shift upward and quickly melt it all away. Not so this week when we received about 6 inches of snow and ice with uncharacteristically cold temperatures keeping the snow around, the roads ice covered, and the children out of school all week. Tonight, we will flirt with record lows of about 1 with a -5 to -10 wind chill. Hope the birds snuggle in their bird bottle.
