The Sunken Garden At The College of William And Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia

The Sunken Garden on the campus of the College of William and Mary provides a large lawn area between the historic Wren Building and Crim Dell with its beautiful bridge.  It is used for relaxation, recreation and, when the trees and shrubs are in full foliage, creates a beautiful view.

The first photo is facing the Wren Building; the second is facing Crim Dell.
