In the "Prelude To Victory" presentation over the weekend, about 200 reenactors encamped in town, were inspected by General Washington, and drilled on the Court House Greens before marching on to Yorktown to battle Cornwallis. In these photos we see Washington and some of the troops. We will present a number of photos on this event as there was a great deal to share.

That must have been a great event, all those people dressed in historical clothes. Looking forward to your next photo's.
It does look like a great presentation to watch. I also think it is neat to see the historical clothing. Great photos.
Those two colonial photos are award winners! They should be in a book about Williamsburg!
Bravo Darryl & Ruth
These would look so 'real' in b/w. Amazing faces too.
Wonderful photos of the costumes and the historical representation. Nicely done!
