Welcome to an almost daily peek at our beautiful Williamsburg, Virginia which includes the "Historic Triangle" consisting of Colonial Williamsburg -the world’s largest living history museum- Yorktown and Jamestown.
Edinburgh Castle was an ordinary with about thirteen beds according to an inventory in the 1700's. There was also a tavern which, given its proximity to the Capitol, made it quite popular.
Quaint! Funny, when I was waiting for the for the picture to load I was anticipating a "castle." Strange how the mind works...no turrets or towers just clabbered siding and chimneys! It is charming nonetheless. Have a wonderful holiday weekend!!! Cathy

i love that style of houses, doesn't look like a castle does it.

I have somehow missed this in previous visits - now on my list for the next one! Nice shots...
Truly a majestic name for a colonial clapboard building.
Happy Blue Moon.
