Ship Sculpture, Waterman's Museum, Yorktown, Virginia


The Waterman's Museum in Yorktown offers a peak at the history of those who worked the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. This sculpture stands in their side yard in the shadow of the Coleman Bridge, on the banks of the York River.

And then to think that only by wind our forefathers discovered and traveled the whole world in ships like this.
