Thomas Nelson House, Yorktown, Virginia
Thomas Nelson was an avid supporter of independence, a delegate to the Continental Congress, and Governor of Virginia. He led and funded a militia during the war and was involved in the Battle of Yorktown at which Cornwallis surrendered. His Yorktown home still has cannon balls embedded in the side.

A great deal of history there. I really like the style of the home.
