Behind this and the surrounding buildings are acres of gardens, a hedge maze, an ice house, a pond and incredibly beautiful landscape. It is ornate and a must see for visitors.

This party dress was a favorite of the Governor's oldest daughter.  When trouble broke out in the colony after the British raided the armory, the Governor and his family fled to a nearby ship.  The dress was left behind under the assumption the family would quickly return.
