Bald Cypress, Jamestown Island, Virginia
A cluster of bald cypress trees stands in these tidal waters partially surrounding Jamestown Island. When the tide is out their long, curved roots are visible. An osprey sits atop her nest on the nearest tree.

The Osprey looks nice and safe way up there in the tree, would love to see the root system when the tide is out!
